The company has served a range of organizations ranging in size from three stores to 3000 stores in a variety of assignments all centered on operational improvement and labor cost control. The clients include national chains as well as regional chains in all geographic areas of the US:

2007-2009 Home Depot Operators of home center locations. Rationalized and improved performance of existing electronic scheduling system (Atlanta, GA -3000 stores)

2007 Coborn’s, Inc. Operators of Coborn’s and Cashwise supermarkets. Developed and expanded labor scheduling standards to all perishable departments. Modified previous labor scheduling system to make standards transparent to user (St. Cloud, MN - 33 stores)

2000-2008 Advance Auto Parts Operators of Advance Auto Parts Stores and Western Auto, PR. Currently testing Workforce Electronic Scheduling System. Developed systems on-line reporting system to support database in 2006. Created and evaluated labor saving initiatives in 2005-2006. Created, installed and implemented tailored MPT labor scheduling system 2000-2005, documented in financial performance 2000-2003 (Roanoke, VA - 3000 stores)

1991-2002 D’Agostino Supermarkets Operators of D’Agostino Supermarkets. Created, installed and implemented MPT labor scheduling system, 1991-92. Evaluated and set standards for main office support functions, 1992-93. Revised and reinstalled MPT labor standards in 1995-98. Evaluated potential results from purchase and integration of Kings Supermarket operation (NJ) 2001-02 (Larchmont, NY - 25 stores)

1994-97 Ukrop’s Super Markets Operators of Ukrop’s Supermarkets. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system, 1994-97. Created basis for measuring and improving perishable gross margins, 1996 (Richmond, VA - 26 stores)

1995-96 Committee for Purchase and Nish Federal Presidential Agency responsible for purchase of services for the handicapped and the National Institute for the Severely Handicapped. In conjunction with Stellar Services (Fairfax, VA) developed labor standards for contracted janitorial services in military commissaries (Defense Commissary Agency) along with costing models, 1996. Same as above for contracted shelf-stocking standards, 1995 (Arlington VA - 211 locations)

1995 US Department of Defense Commissary Agency Organization responsible for operation of commissaries on US military bases. Under direction of General Richard Beale, developed and installed MPT labor scheduling system for checkout operations in cross-section of 10 military commissaries (Hopewell, VA - 211 locations)

1993-94 LaVerdiere’s Drug Stores Operators of pharmacies and drug/variety stores – sold to Rite Aid in 1994. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system (Waterville, ME - 88 stores)

1993 Vix Drug Stores Division of Tops Friendly Markets, operating deep discount pharmacy and variety stores – closed with Ahold acquisition in 1996. Developed standards for store operations, including backroom accounting function (Amherst, NY 10 stores)

1991-92 Wilson Farms Convenience Stores Division of Tops Friendly Markets, operating mini-marts, including deli’s and petroleum- sold to Golden Gallon after Ahold acquisition. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system (Buffalo, NY - 78 stores)

1990-91 Tops Friendly Markets Operators of corporate and franchised supermarkets. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system in corporate stores and directed strategy for franchised stores (Buffalo, NY - 58 stores)

1988-90 Kings’ Soopers Division of the Kroger Company<, operators of combo food/drug stores. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system (Denver. CO – 67 stores)

1976-1988 Shaw’s Supermarkets Operators of Maine and Massachusetts supermarkets – sold to LL Sainsbury. Developed and installed MPT labor scheduling system in each division, 1976-77. Revised standards, 1983-85. Integrated Iandoli’s acquisition into program, 1988 (E. Bridgewater, MA – 96 stores)

1975-87 Food Mart Division of Waldbaum, Long Island, operators of supermarkets. Sold to A & P, 1986. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system 1975-76. Updated grocery norms, 1977. Developed and managed holiday fruit basket program, 1978. Updated produce norms, 1979. Extended program to pharmacies, 1984. Evaluated and set norms for corporate support functions, 1987 (Holyoke, MA – 34 stores)

1985 Great American Stores Operator of supermarkets – ceased operation. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system (Utica, NY - 45 stores)

1984 J. Bildner and Sons Operator of upscale supermarkets. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system (Boston, MA -18 stores)

1981-84 Carr’s Quality Centers Largest wholesaler and retailer in Alaska – sold to Safeway, 1988. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system, 1981-82. Analyzed and scheduled retail and J.B. Gottstein support operation, 1983. Developed on-line accounts payable system, 1984 (Anchorage, AK -13 stores)

1984 Foodmaster Operator of supermarkets. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system (Somerville, MA – 8 stores)

1984 Greenfield’s Supermarkets Operator of supermarkets - sold to Finast. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system (Plainville, CT – 8 stores)

1975-1984 “M” System Stores Operator of supermarkets – sold to Fleming. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system, 1975. Revised standards, 1979. Extended standards to scratch bakeries and pharmacies, 1984. Developed transfer pricing for central bakery product, 1984 (San Angelo. TX - 24 stores)

1975-1984 Giant Eagle Wholesaler and supermarket operator – acquired Tamarkin Brothers (Value King) in 1980 and spun off Phar-Mor, 1981. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system, 1975. Updated deli departments, 1977. Created extension to Tamarkin operation (Youngstown), 1980. Created Phar-Mor program, 1982. Updated standards, 1984-85 (Pittsburgh, PA – 260 stores)

1983 Ferrera Bros Wholesaler and supermarket retailer. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system (Canton, Ma – 18 stores)

1982-1983 Sampson’s Supermarkets Operator of conventional supermarkets – folded into Hannaford, Bros., now subsidiary of Delahaize. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system (Auburn, ME 44 stores)

1975-1984 Milgram’s Supermarkets Operator of supermarkets and later discount supermarkets – ceased operations 1989. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system, 1976. Updated system with format change, 1984 (Kansas City. MO – 45 stores)

1982 Schultz Sav’O Wholesaler and operator of Piggly Wiggly and Save-U supermarkets – changed name to Fresh Brands, 2000. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system (Sheboygan, WS – 48 stores)

1982 Adam’s Supermarkets Operator of conventional supermarkets – sold to Big Y in 1987. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system (Adams, MA – 10 stores)

1980-1981 Doug’s Shop and Save Operator of supermarkets – folded into Hannaford Bros.., 1984. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system, 1981. Analyzed and developed standards for office support function, 1981 (Bangor, ME – 8 stores)

1981 Penn Traffic Company Operator of Riverside supermarkets. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system (Dubois, PA – 50 stores)

1980 Angelo’s Supermarkets Division of Tedeschi, operator of supermarkets – sold to Purity Supreme, 1982. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system (Rockland, MA – 23 stores)

1979-1980 Dart Drug, Inc. Operator of Dart Drug pharmacies and home centers, Crown Book and Trac Auto – Dart sold to private shareholders,1989, Trac Auto sold to Advance Auto Parts, 2003. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system in drugstores, 1981. Prepared strategy and schedule for Richmond division, Crown Book and Trac Auto, 1981 (Landover, MD – 140 stores)

1980 Cottle’s Supermarkets Equity partner to Hannaford – absorbed in 1983. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system (Waterville, ME – 8 stores)

1980 Standard Super Markets Later operated as Lowell’s supermarkets – ceased operations in 1983. Developed computer program to set standards for stores based on responses to store and executive policy questionnaires (Indianapolis, IN – 35 stores)

1980 Star Supermarkets Operator of supermarkets - sold to Fox. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system (Rochester, NY 52 stores)

1979 Birch Super Drug Operator of pharmacies and gift shop – sold to CVS, 1985. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system for drug stores and free-standing gift shop (Chelmsford, MA - 4 stores)

1979 M & M Supermarkets Operator of supermarkets – sold to Kroger, 1983. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling system, 1979. Developed and managed holiday fruit basket program, 1979 (Savannah, GA – 6 stores)

1979 Hannaford Bros. Corporate supermarkets. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling program (South Portland, Me – 18 stores)

1978 Hinky Dinky Supermarkets Division of Cullum Companies – sold to Fleming in 1982. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling program (Omaha, NE – 52 stores)

1977 Richardson’s RX Operator of pharmacies – ceased operation, 1986. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling program (Ann Arbor, MI – 10 stores)

1976 A & P Operator of A & P and Super Fresh supermarkets. Developed computer program to set standards for stores based on responses to store and executive policy questionnaires (Montvale, NJ – 1200 stores)

1975 Furr’s Operator of supermarkets and family centers – sold to private ownership, 1980. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling program, 1979. Created and installed labor scheduling program for warehousing and distribution operation, 1979 (Lubbock, TX - 77 stores)

1975 Northern California Supermarkets Operating as Purity and Budget Basket supermarkets – ceased operations in 1981. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling program (Hayward, CA – 13 stores)

1974-75 Golub Corp. Operating as Price Chopper Supermarkets. Created and installed MPT labor scheduling program (Schenectady, NY – 95 stores)
